Name Meaning: The name "Felaya" is a combination of the two terms "feline", the English word for "cat-like creatures", and "aya" the Japanese term for "colourful" and "beautiful"

Abilities:

  • Felaya has the amazing ability to conjure tiny shooting stars in almost any sky. These are even visible in bright sunlight and appear in many different colours. Unlike real shooting stars, these are not meteors or anything similar but are just an optical illusion. All creatures who gaze at them will get a warm feeling of happiness

  • When she is particularly happy and playful, her body leaves a temporary sparkling trail of colourful star-shaped glitter behind

  • She has the ability to make certain objects and even creatures glow temporarily in all sorts of colours

  • Her fur emits a subtle scent of various sweets

  • Felaya can produce and emit light form her whole body as she wishes. That way she can lighten up the night in her fur colours. The way she glows is particularly strong and bright, especially at her star-shaped spots. Unlike other creatures, the glowing requires almost no energy and she has the ability to vary the intensity of her glowing from a dimmed one to a dazzling bright one. Even the highest degree consumes only a small amount of energy

  • She has the ability of speech and she speaks and understands many different human languages of our world. Of course she is able to interact with her fellow species and other animals and creatures. She can even translate to a certain extent

  • She has an amazing night vision and can see extremely well in the dark. She cannot see through the dark in the Land of Eternal Darkness though. She can also see almost all existing colours

  • Felaya is a very talented and passionate dancer. She can pull off quite demanding moves like break dancing for example

  • She is a very kind and joyful companion and she is always at Sylvi's side

 

Weaknesses:

  • Fun activities, such as partying, dancing, and playing games, are of utmost importance to her. If she cannot engage in these for an extended period, she quickly becomes bored and, with prolonged deprivation, even gloomy

  • Felaya is a very optimistic and upbeat creature and sometimes she tends to get a bit too careless. This can also cause other creatures who are not in the best mood to be annoyed by it

  • She is a very positive and cheerful being. Sad, negative, or malicious actions, moods, etc., can stress her out rather quickly

  • She and her little brother Luxo were born in the Land of Eternal Night a gorgeous land which is full of colourful and glowing plants and creatures. As the name implies, the land is in a state of eternal night. It is a very soothing and peaceful land. Felaya and her brother moved to the Land of Eternal Dusk some time ago. The motivation for this move was her companion Sylvi, whom Felaya met during a trip to the Land of Eternal Night. The two immediately hit it off and have been inseparable ever since. The same happened with Luxo and Sylvi's boyfriend Zagan Fireheart, the two have been as thick as thieves ever since. Since this magical encounter, Felaya and Luxo have been living harmoniously together with Sylvi, Zagan, Nippy, and Cosmia
