Name: Sylvi Yellowstar, Sylvi Roseheart, Sylvi Rosestar and Sylviparda (alias)

 

Name Meaning: The name “Sylvi” has Latin roots and means "from or of the forest". It is often connected to fairies and other mythical creatures from the forest. Her alias Sylviparda is also inspired by this term and it is combined with the Latin word "pardus" which means "leopard". She might not be a leopard, but her Bengal spots look similar to actual leopard spots, hence the name. But this alias has an even deeper meaning. Just like her three last names, this alias was given by Sylvipardis and Parda, one of the Phanthera. Sylvi wanted her name to sound as similar as possible to Sylvipardis and also wanted to have "Parda" as a part of her name to reflect the strong and spiritual connection they share with each other. It shall also serve as an universal name which can be applied to every single form she can turn into. Coincidentally, she bears the same name as my mascot Sylviparda, but they are not considered the same beings

Appearance:

Sylvi is an anthropomorphic cat which has the ability to change between two different forms and colour variations respectively. She is also able to turn into a third, a special mix/hybrid form. She can do this at any time by using a special magical power that was granted by her spirit animal Sylvipardis and by Parda, one of the great Phanthera. Sylvi Yellowstar:

• This form shall represent her playful, overexcited and joyful nature

• It is inspired by the marigold flower, the pina colada cocktail and the shiny version of the Pokémon “Vulpix”

• She has light orange and golden Bengal-like spots

• She has a triangular-shaped nose

• She has star-shaped highlights in her eyes

• She has golden star-shaped ear tips

• She has light pink hair and paw pads

 

Sylvi Roseheart:

• This form shall represent her gentle, clingy and flirty nature

• It is inspired by a light pink rose, strawberry milk and the colour palette of the Pokémon “Sylveon”

• Her fur pattern looks similar to the one of a chimera cat

• She has a heart as a nose

• She has heart-shaped highlights in her eyes

• She has light blue hair and paw pads

 

Sylvi Rosestar

• This is a special mix/hybrid form of Sylvi Roseheart and Sylvi Yellowstar

• Right side: Sylvi Roseheart

• Left side: Sylvi Yellowstar

• Her fur pattern looks similar to the one of a chimera cat

• She has light orange and golden Bengal-like spots

• She has a heart as a nose

• Her right eye is pink with heart-shaped highlights and her left eye is golden with star-shaped highlights

• She has one pink (right) and one golden (left) star-shaped ear tip

• She has light blue hair and light blue (right) and pink (left) paw pads

 

Sylvi (Prior Form)

Sylvi got her beautiful and colourful fur thanks to Sylvipardis' and Parda's powers. Sylvi has always felt particularly close to them and both, the Heart Cat and Star Cat. Sylvipardis and Parda also felt that there must be some kind of special connection between these two Mysticats and Sylvi. So, they've decided to use the bright light of Tempus Lux's star and the warmth of their hearts to change Sylvi into the mystical creature she is now. That way this special connection could have been manifested. Before that time well,  before she had met Sylvipardis, Parda and the others, she used to look different. She had the colours of a normal cat and she only had this one single form, the Prior Form. This form per se does not exist anymore. But she could turn back into her prior form, namely by losing these particular granted powers. • As already mentioned, Sylvi has the ability to change into three different forms

• She can produce and emit light form her whole body. That way she can lighten up the night in many different colours

• She has the ability of speech and she speaks and understands many different human languages of our world. Of course she is able to interact with her fellow species and other animals and creatures. She can even translate to a certain extent

• She is a very empathetic creature and cares a lot about other creatures. For example, when she senses that someone feels bad or down, she will not hesitate to try helping and cheering them up

• She is able to see in the dark and, unlike other cats, she can see almost all existing colours

 

Weaknesses:

• The fact that she is not able to help and cheer up every single creatures makes her often feel sad and down. She wishes everybody could be happy somehow

• Sylvi sometimes tends to feel overwhelmed when a lot of creatures are in need of her support at once. She then tries to please everybody and it can happen that she then ignores her own needs and feelings

Further Information:

• Sylvi Roseheart has more Khao Manee features than Sylvi Yellowstar which on the other hand looks more like a Bengal cat

• They might not be visible, but Sylvi Roseheart and Sylvi Rosestar's right side have very faded spots on their light pink fur. They have the same shape as Sylvi Yellowstar's spots

• Sylvi Yellowstar's form can be considered as her main form which she currently uses the most. Though, her Roseheart form is also used quite often to be appropriate for certain occasions, like dates or formal parties. Since her Rosestar form is a mix/hybrid form it takes more magical energy for Sylvi to turn into this special form so, it is used less often than the other two forms. As already mentioned above, she used to have one single form before turning into a magical-like being, the so called "Prior Form" she could only turn back into this form by somehow losing her granted magical powers 

• She was born in the Land of Eternal Dusk a mystical land which is full of magic and fairy-like creatures. As the name implies, the land is in a state of eternal dusk. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place

• In every land you can find the following rule: Every strongly marked anthropomorphic creature is actually a human being from either a different dimension and/or time, that's why these creatures are more human-like than other beings

• She is anthropomorphic and thus very human-like, but can still do typical “cat-like” things like purring, meowing, climbing and much more

• She is very in love with her boyfriend Zagan Fireheart and she could not imagine a life without him

• She and every here presented Land of Eternal Dusk resident are good friends. But she shares an extraordinary bond with Sylvipardis which is kind of her spirit animal/creature and the Phanthera Parda. Sylvipardis, with the help of the latter, also granted her the power to change between her three different forms. Nippy and Felaya also play a very important role to Sylvi. They are her faithful companions and are always by her side. These three are like inseparable

• She has an entirely vegetarian diet, even though she is a cat. Her favourite foods are vegetables, fruits, nuts, and sweet treats
