  • Groovy is an incredibly talented dancer and is considered one of the best dancers in the entire land. There isn't a style he doesn't master, whether it's disco, hip-hop, breakdance, tango, salsa, or ballet, he excels in them all. His favourite, however, is undeniably disco dancing and all its subgenres, like disco fox, hustle, disco swing, etc. Dancing is his greatest passion, and he can never get enough of it

  • His passion for dancing is not only amazing to watch but also incredibly infectious. For example, when he dances in a club, his fantastic moves captivate everyone, and even the biggest non-dancers can’t resist joining him on the dance floor. Dancing alongside him fills the other creatures with pure joy

  • He is an excellent and very patient dance instructor who regularly offers a variety of dance classes. These are highly popular and in great demand

  • He’s a true motivational coach and loves helping others finding their "groove" and gaining more self-confidence. Not only is he enthusiastic when dancing, but also in his speaking, inspiring and motivating others to open up and express themselves more

  • His head doesn’t just look like a disco ball, its surface also reflects light similarly, even though he actually has a very smooth, short fur coat. What’s more, the classic checkered pattern can even rotate around its own axis at various speeds. Many assume that his head is turning, but, of course, that's not the case. It’s simply the pattern itself that moves magically, while his head remains still

  • He produces and emits light form his whole body constantly. That way he can lighten up the night in many different colours. The way he glows is particularly strong and bright. Unlike other creatures, the glowing requires almost no energy and he has the ability to vary the intensity of his glowing from a dimmed one to a dazzling bright one. Even the highest degree consumes only a small amount of energy. This glowing cannot be turned off though

  • He has the ability to make certain objects and even creatures glow temporarily in all sorts of colours

  • He has the ability of speech and he speaks and understands many different human languages of our world. Of course he is able to interact with his fellow species and other animals and creatures. He can even translate to a certain extent

  • He has an amazing night vision and can see extremely well in the dark. He cannot see through the dark in the Land of Eternal Darkness though. He can also see almost all existing colours

 

Weaknesses:

  • His glowing cannot simply be "stopped". He can dim it to a certain extent, but not turn it off. This makes it difficult for him to hide for example

  • For Groovy dancing is an essential part of his life. If, for any reason, he could no longer pursue this passion, it would be devastating and dreadful for him. So much so, that he wouldn't even dare to think about it in his dreams

  • He is quite hyperactive and often restless, finding it difficult to sit still for long periods. This makes it harder for him to concentrate and focus on something. However, dancing briefly during such quiet and still activities already helps him a lot, even if it's just for a few minutes. If he's unable to move actively, it can put a lot of pressure on him and can cause a lot of stress

  • He was born in the Land of Eternal Night a gorgeous land which is full of colourful and glowing plants and creatures. As the name implies, the land is in a state of eternal night. It is a very soothing and peaceful land. Groovy has only recently moved to the Land of Eternal Dusk. Originally, he had planned to stay there for just a few weeks before returning home. The reason for his stay was a large and popular dance festival that takes place every year in the Land of Eternal Dusk, attracting many visitors, including creatures from other lands. During the festival, he met Nijiko and Harley, who later became his best friends, as well as Melody, Senja, and Colada, who also became part of his close-knit group of friends. These friendships became so important to him that he ultimately decided to move permanently to the Land of Eternal Dusk, which he did a few months later. However, he remains very attached to his homeland and frequently returns there as a visitor throughout the year

  • In every land you can find the following rule: Every strongly marked anthropomorphic creature is actually a human being from either a different dimension and/or time, that's why these creatures are more human-like than other beings

  • He is anthropomorphic and thus very human-like, but can still do typical “cat-like” things like meowing, purring, climbing and much more

  • He and every here presented Land of Eternal Dusk resident are good friends. He and his two best friends Nijiko and Harley are inseparable and he is also very close to Melody, Senja, and Colada and all six of them often work and go out together
