Abilities:

• Melody is ultra musical and very talented. A certain magical power within her allows her to play any instrument instantly, whether it's the piano, drums, or guitar, Melody can play them all. She also has a beautiful and incredibly adaptable voice, capable of singing soprano, alto, tenor, and bass, and even head voice and guttural singing. The same applies to dancing. Melody is a very skilled and passionate dancer. Not only that, but she can also play, sing, and dance to any genre

• She is very creative and poetic when it comes to songwriting. What she writes depends heavily on her current mood and situation, as she is very emotional. When she is happy, she writes something upbeat and cheerful, when she is sad, something slow and melancholic and when she is angry, she writes something wild and rebellious, often in the metal or rock style. Melody rarely writes them alone though, she works closely with her twin brother Clef, who is just as musically talented as she is. She writes the songs and he composes the corresponding melodies or vice versa. Together, they are an unbeatable team and always release outstanding songs and even perform together

• She produces and emits light form her whole body constantly. That way she can lighten up the night in many different colours. The way she glows is particularly strong and bright. Unlike other creatures, the glowing requires almost no energy and she has the ability to vary the intensity of her glowing from a dimmed one to a dazzling bright one. Even the highest degree consumes only a small amount of energy. This glowing cannot be turned off though

• She has the ability to make certain objects and even creatures glow temporarily in all sorts of colours

• She has the ability of speech and she speaks and understands many different human languages of our world. Of course she is able to interact with her fellow species and other animals and creatures. She can even translate to a certain extent

• She has an amazing night vision and can see extremely well in the dark. She cannot see through the dark in the Land of Eternal Darkness though. She can also see almost all existing colours

 

Weaknesses:

• Her glowing cannot simply be "stopped". She can dim it to a certain extent, but not turn it off. This makes it difficult for her to hide for example

• Music is Melody's life. If, for any reason, she could no longer engage in musical activities like singing, dancing, or playing an instrument, her world would fall apart and she might even become depressed

• She is quite a loud being who often goes a bit overboard with her music, something that not every creature appreciates

• Melody is a sentimental being who is sometimes guided or even overwhelmed by certain emotions. When she's happy, she’s truly happy, when she's sad, she’s deeply sad, when she's angry, she’s really angry, and so on. Being able to express these moods in her songs helps her a lot in dealing with these intense emotions and her twin brother Clef is also there for her to calm her down when coping strongly negative emotions

• Melody can sometimes be a bit of a diva, showing particular moodiness and sensitivity, especially when it comes to criticism towards her music. She can also get frustrated quickly when things don't go the way she wants. Especially her twin brother Clef's stubborn behaviour and constant flirting bother her the most and she makes sure to let him know. However, she always means well with him and just wants what’s best for him

• She was born in the Land of Eternal Night a gorgeous land which is full of colourful and glowing plants and creatures. As the name implies, the land is in a state of eternal night. It is a very soothing and peaceful land. When she and Clef were little cubs, their parents moved to the Land of Eternal Dusk. For them, it has always been their homeland. They are very attached to it, as their parents and closest friends live there. They also love the party and club scene in this land. However, they still visit their land of birth regularly to see their relatives

• She and every here presented Land of Eternal Dusk resident are good friends. As described before, she and her twin brother Clef are a great team and very close, even though there are occasional minor arguments between them. She also loves spending time with her best friend Harley a lot. They love making music, performing and going out together
