Abilities:

• Odds has the incredible ability to determine the probability of almost anything with remarkable precision through his magical powers, often with 100% accuracy. This can apply to both fluctuating or momentary probabilities, such as specific weather events, and stable probabilities, like the odds of winning certain games

• He is also generally very clever and intelligent. He is especially passionate about mathematics and statistics and loves calculating and analysing all sorts of things. He is incredibly good at mental arithmetic and is often referred to as the "walking calculator". Hardly any math problem, no matter how tricky, is too difficult for him

• Additionally, it's almost impossible to trick him, as he is very shrewd and  street-smart and only engages in something or takes action once he has weighed all the possible pros and cons and is absolutely sure about it

• He can produce and emit light form his body, except the parts which are covered with black fur, these areas do not glow. As a result, his beautiful dice and playing card patterns stand out even more, which looks absolutely stunning

• He has the ability of speech and he speaks and understands many different human languages of our world. Of course he is able to interact with his fellow species and other animals and creatures. He can even translate to a certain extent

• Since he comes from a land, which is in a state of eternal darkness, except the fiery underground, he is able to see in the dark and, unlike other cats, he can see almost all existing colours

 

Weaknesses:

• For Odds, everything must align perfectly and be thoroughly calculated and/or analysed beforehand. If something, such as a particular activity, seems to have more drawbacks than benefits to him, is too risky, or the like, he won’t go through with it. Because of this, he can be quite hesitant and tends to overthink things. Not only that, but he often feels like he’s missing out on something or burdening others with his caution. Fortunately, his best friend Felice is always by his side, helping him to be a bit more relaxed and spontaneous

• Due to his overly analytical nature and strong reliance on probabilities and mathematical calculations, Odds often loses sight of other essential aspects of a situation. One of these is luck. Despite the fact that his best friend Felice, the "lucky charm cat," spends a lot of time with him, he doesn’t seem particularly blessed with luck. This only causes him to overthink even more, as he struggles to reconcile his belief in calculations with the unpredictable nature of fortune

Further Information:

• Odds was born in the Land of the Eternal Darkness, a very dark place that has no light source whatsoever. But it has a huge fiery and very hot underground where the most creatures live. It is full of strong demon-like creatures, which are unfortunately, often mistaken as evil beings, though the majority of them is friendly and peaceful, just like him. He was still a child when his family moved to the Land of Eternal Dusk. Not long after, he met Felice at school, who was also a sweet little kitten. At first, they were just classmates, and he found her too impulsive and spontaneous, while she thought he was too calculated and hesitant. But soon they realized that these very opposites seemed to draw them together, and they complemented each other perfectly. He keeps her in check when she gets too hasty and she encourages him to try new things and to not overthink them. They became, and remain, best friends, and they can't imagine a life without each other

• In every land you can find the following rule: Every strongly marked anthropomorphic creature is actually a human being from either a different dimension and/or time, that's why these creatures are more human-like than other beings

• He is anthropomorphic and thus very human-like, but can still do typical “cat-like” things like meowing, purring, climbing etc.

• He and every here presented Land of Eternal Dusk resident are good friends. As already mentioned several times, he and Felice are best friends and very close. They even call their little group "The Luckyhoods"

• Odds is a cis-male and bisexual

• He has an entirely vegetarian diet, even though he is a cat. His favourite foods are vegetables, fruits, nuts and much more
