Abilities:

  • Thanks to his gorgeous moth-like wings Schimmer is able to fly, and that pretty high and far. He struggles to fly in the rain though, since his wings must not get too wet

  • Schimmer's wonderful wings always leave a temporary sparkling trail of colourful glitter behind. Additionally, he is able to generate permanent glitter with the help of his beautiful wings, which is very colourful and sparkling and loved by many

  • He can produce and emit light form his whole body. That way he can lighten up the night in many different colours. This process requires quite a lot of magical energy though

  • He is able to track down and even communicate with other moths, moth-like beings or caterpillars using his antennae

  • Thanks to his special magical abilities, he is able to consume the nectar of flowers. During this process, he always ensures that the flowers are pollinated. He has a preference for the nectar of white flowers and consumes almost exclusively their nectar

  • He is an extremely magnificent and beautiful creature, often admired and marvelled at with large eyes

  • He is suave and gallant and a true gentleman, especially towards his girlfriend Falena

  • He has the ability of speech and he speaks and understands many different human languages of our world. Of course he is able to interact with his fellow species and other animals and creatures. He can even translate to a certain extent

  • He is able to see in the dark and, unlike other tigers and moths, he can see almost all existing colours

 

Weaknesses:

  • As already mentioned, Schimmer has a hard time flying while being exposed to rain or water in general due to his wings getting wet

  • He is generally considered to be rather hydrophobic and cannot swim very well. Therefore, he prefers to stay away from large bodies of water

  • His sparkling glitter trail cannot simply be "stopped". This makes it difficult for him to hide for example

  • Schimmer is a little peacocky which means that he doesn't like getting dirty or having his fur tousled. However, his wings are his greatest weakness, they must not get dirty under any circumstances, as they mean a lot to him

  • There are occasions where he can be quite picky, for example, he prefers the nectar of white flowers or only eats the freshest fruits or nuts

  • He has an entirely vegetarian diet, even though he is partly an Amur tiger. His favourite foods are vegetables, fruits and nuts, occasionally he snacks on nectar from mainly white flowers

  • He was born in the Land of Eternal Dusk a mystical land which is full of magic and fairy-like creatures. As the name implies, the land is in a state of eternal dusk. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place

  • He and every here presented Land of Eternal Dusk resident are good friends. He is very much in love with his dear girlfriend Falena which he had met on a wonderful autumn day in the forest as he was taking a relaxing stroll through the woods. It was love at first sight and shortly after, they became a love couple. He is especially close to Halley, whom he even calls his aunt and Luminos, who is like a grandfather to him, even though none of them are not related by blood
